Samsung revals new Galaxy TAB 10.1 web drama
Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., the global leader in Android™ mobile devices launches a new episode of Extreme Retreat, a hit branded entertainment series promoting the Galaxy Tab series. The new episode entitled Extreme Retreat: Birthday Party will feature Samsung’s new Galaxy 10.1 device. Extreme Retreat follows the exploits of an adventurous boss who takes his employees to extreme locations for their annual corporate retreat. On each occasion the Galaxy Tab 10.1 saves the day by allowing employees to function in these extremely hostile environments. In the latest episode he decides to combine his six year-old’s birthday party with the company retreat with hilarious consequences.
Extreme Retreat is shot in a mockumentary style with a film crew following boss and employees. In the new episode boss and employees must face their most intimidating adversaries to date: 6 year olds. However the Galaxy 10.1 tab saves the day by allowing employees and children alike to access both work and entertainment experiences such as full HD video player, Google video chat, better web browsing with flash, work document view and both front-rear facing camera.
As with previous Extreme Retreat episodes, Extreme Retreat: Birthday Party will be distributed via Samsung Mobile SNS sites channels like YouTube and Facebook, accompanied by outreach to key influencers including power bloggers. The distribution strategy drove over 1.3 million views last year to Extreme Retreat: Andes.
